The test python file here just prints the non-zero and error
data for the first five events for the given raw data file,
and stores all TPG objects created in the output EDM file.

Usage syntax:
  
  cd $CMSSW_BASE/src/EventFilter/L1TXRawToDigi/test/
  cmsenv
  cmsRun testL1TCaloLayer1RawToDigi.py >& 5-event-dump.log

There are also a simple standalone tester and three test events that you can try:

  cd $CMSSW_BASE/src/EventFilter/L1TXRawToDigi/test/
  cmsenv
  scram b
  $CMSSW_BASE/tmp/slc6_amd64_gcc493/src/EventFilter/L1TXRawToDigi/test/testUCTUnpacker/testUCTUnpacker < event_test1.txt
