To test the EcalLaserCorrectionService, setup environment for DB access. Also, edit test/test_ecallaserdb.cfg to include the correct path for DB authentication. Be sure to do "eval `scramv1 runtime -csh`" and "scramv1 b" in the release src directory before running cmsRun. Then run on the test cfg.
> source /etc/hepix/oracle_env.csh
> setenv TNS_ADMIN /afs/cern.ch/project/oracle/admin
> cd $CMSSW_BASE/src/
> eval `scramv1 runtime -csh`
> scramv1 b
> cd CalibCalorimetry/EcalLaserCorrection/test
> cmsRun test_ecallaserdb.cfg
As configured, it will read and printout laser APD/PN values from the specified database.
